S71 RELICS Custom Made unique « Nitro S Modern/Vintage Single Humbucker ’69/80’s, Gold Top over Pink Shell Heavy-Relic ».

Picture this: the Sunset Strip in 1982, a guy joins a band, they all have Gold instruments, so the guy paints his 69 Shell Pink Strat in Gold, and transforms it into a one-pickup monster with modding the vibrato to be softer and adding locking tuners. This Custom Shop creation is the result of that imaginary story. Thankfully, the guitar is not imaginary, and it is a tone monster, with a very loud acoustic sound. The Genuine 1987 DiMarzio F2 and the Clean Booster perfectly voiced to complement the S model and with a modded vibrato and a easy access the last notes for the ending of the shred solo. A monster !

Selected light alder body made in UK by luthier. (HSH route under the Pickguard).
Heavy Relic finish Gold Top over Shell Pink with plenty of details.
High-end AllParts under Fender Licence Modern/Vintage Maple/Maple neck, made in Japan. (Full details below).
Genuine Vintage DiMarzio Humbucker from 1987 model « IBZ USA F2 » made in USA for Ibanez by Dimarzio (Made in USA engraved in the back).

Handwired elecs made by UFX in France with a clean Booster and several positions (push-push volume and switches) and a 9V battery under the pickguard.
Gotoh Japan Vintage bridge modded in Andy Timmons style with only 4 screws to having a softer movement.
Wilkinson locking tuners.
