– These are brand new model T-168 genuine Collins custom hand wound vintage pickup set with some modern touches and made from the finest materials

-Now you can have your own bit of Texas heat. Modeled after the late ’60’s single coil pickups wound hot.187 Alnico 5 magnets oriented South and calibrated for strength.
These pickups are overwound 16% at the bridge for balance
High quality vulcanized fiber flatwork with period correct black.062 top & period correct gray.093 bottoms.
Made in the U.S.A. hand wound in Texas in my own shop.

– The sandcast alnico 5 magnets were sealed before winding in my own resin formula to prevent magnet to wire failure.
Wound with a beautiful bright red modern poly-nylon AWG42 wire in the bridge and AWG43 in the neck and potted in paraffin/bees wax to silence microphonics.

Vintage black/white cloth wiring about 12’ long for the most demanding hookups. Vintage surgical rubber tubing with nickel screws.
